Problem / Opportunity

As a technology driven business, the company website had evolved to contain increasingly technical content and to support existing clients to the point at which was no longer working as a new business generating tool. Initial contact from potential customers often came from non IT senior executives who were being deterred by the technical nature of the site content

Solution

Before commencing design, a series of workshop sessions were staged to agree the purpose of the site and to define the proposition and brand values. The dialogue was extended to include views from executives across all countries to ensure that the final site supported the global requirements of the business. With the objectives and business focus agreed, the site map and design brief were prepared leading to 3 different design approaches. These were again tested across the whole business before the final design was created.

Any existing web content which was useable was edited, but the bulk of the content needed to be authored from scratch. The final content was edited further to retain consistency of message, tone & grammar before being loaded into the site.

Results

The new site was launched with a clarity of message and a compelling new image. It was further supplemented with a library of whitepapers and case studies to demonstrate the companies leading position in its core markets.
